Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU inaugurated the E-Scientific Journals System. The inauguration witnessed the presence of Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Khudairi Vice Rector of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research and a number of Deans.
The aim of this system is to transfer the scientific journals within the university to an electronic platform with high potential, which will facilitate the process of receiving, examining and arbitration research.
This came during a meeting with the members of the editorial board of the educational science magazines and the magazine of Islamic sciences and Arabic language at the university. During the meeting, Rector pointed to the importance of scientific research and that these two journals contribute to the reflection of the scientific research inside the university. He also praised the system of the e-journals, which will contribute to the unification and simplification of mechanisms and procedures for the examination and arbitration of research sent to scientific journals within the university.
In addition, Dr. Khudairi praised the university's support from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in supporting scientific research. He stressed that the presence of these two journals at the university will contribute to enhancing the role of scientific research within the university.
The meeting included a speech by the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Educational Sciences, former Professor Dr. Jaber Al-Jabr, who expressed his thanks and appreciation for the support provided by the University to the Journal, which contributed to continue and achieve part of its goals. Moreover, the director of the Journal of Shari'a and Arabic Language Sciences Dr. Mushrif Al-Zahrani expressed his thanks for the keenness and support of the Rector to the Scientific Research within the University. He added the existence of scientific journals encouraged scientific publishing.
