Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU patronage the first meeting of the university’s heads of departments. The meeting was held at the theater of Engineering College in the university city and was organized by university’s Follow-U Department.
The meeting began with a welcome speech from the Director of the Follow-up Department, Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Ajayan, in which he thanked the Rector for his sponsorship of this meeting. Al-Ajian explained that this meeting contributes to the development of the administrative work and to highlight the most important achievements and obstacles and proposed solutions to overcome them.
After that, Vice-Dean of the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Learning Dr. Khalid Al-Nuweiser presented a paper explaining some of the issues related to the electronic systems and services provided by the university and activating the communication process in order to provide distinguished service to the university’s members.
Furthermore, a few tips and guidance for the directors and managers of the university administrations presented by the Director of Personnel, Mr. Hamoud Harbi. He explained at the same time some things related to the improvement of the administrative process and some successful experiences in the field of management that contribute to improving the work and achieve its objectives.
In his speech, Dr. Al-Hamed said that this meeting comes from the importance of the Director's role, which is an important element in the administration. He stressed that this meeting is to exchange points of view, experiences and ideas that have a significant impact on the development of the administrative process at the University. Therefore, the university was keen to hold such meetings and meet with Department Leaders.
Later on, an open discussion was began included the directors’ questions and answer them clearly and transparently.
