Dr. Abdul Rahman Khudairi Vice-Rector of Educational and Academic Affairs headed the meeting that displays the voluntary experiment of Baha University. The meeting was held in Vice-Rector Office on 25/5/1436H.
At the begging of the meeting, Mr. Abdul Rahman Alyani Chief of the Voluntary Work Unit at Baha University spoke about the conducted steps from the university in spreading the culture of voluntary work amongst students. Then, voluntary work become one of the graduation requirements. Moreover, the student shall complete 80 hours divided into 10 hours per semester under the supervision of the Voluntary Work Unit his college.
Dr. Khudairi pointed out that PSAU is keen to spread voluntary work culture among its students through benefiting other universities experience in this field. Then, he praised Baha University experience in this field. In addition, he said Vice- Rectorate of Educational and Academic Affairs has establish a unite for such purposes, which is now in planning stage to find programs that enhance voluntary work culture among the university’s students.
It is worth mentioning, the meeting was attended by Dr. Misfer Kubairi Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Khalid Muhaidib Acting Chancellor, Supervisor of the establishment project of the Voluntary Work Unit, and Dr. Turki Thufairi Acting Chancellor. After the meeting. Mr. Alyani delivered a social course titled “Voluntary Work Management” in the Headquarter of the Preparatory Year Deanship. The course witnessed the presence of a number of the university’s students.
