The University President, Prof. Abdullah Al-Tamim, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Board, for their approval of his appointment as the President of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University (PSAU).
Al-Tamim emphasized that this esteemed trust would motivate him to put in even more effort in serving the Kingdom and achieving its strategic goals, including implementing systematic plans for a better education system that aligns with development, research, and innovation. This, he noted, is consistent with the ambitious Vision 2030 of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Al-Tamim also praised the support and attention given to education, which has contributed to enhancing the quality of the educational process, its environment, and its practices, enabling Saudi Arabia's contributions to education to rise globally. He reaffirmed that Saudi achievements in education are progressing according to an ambitious vision.
The University President thanked His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef Al-Benyan, for his efforts and dedication in supporting and promoting higher education, and for the attention and care universities receive from him, which reflect the commitment and support of the leadership.
Al-Tamim encouraged university staff and faculty to keep up their dedicated work and to contribute to everything that serves the Kingdom, enhancing its stature, and moving forward with determination to meet the aspirations of the leadership.
