Under the patronage of the PSAU’s president, Professor Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, the Vice-President for Educational and Academic Affairs, represented by the Deanship of Development and Quality, organized an orientation program for new faculty members for the academic year 2023-2024. This took place on Wednesday, 18/10/2022, at the College of Business Administration Auditorium at PSAU. Several Vice presidency, deanships, and departments participated in organizing the orientation day, including the Vice presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs, the Deanship of Development and Quality, the Vice presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Human Resources Management, the General Administration of IT, and the Public Relations and Corporate Identity Administration.
A range of topics concerning newly joined faculty members were reviewed through a series of discussion sessions related to their role in ensuring quality and academic accreditation, the rights and duties of faculty members, education and learning at the university, as well as research at the university, and the e-services provided to faculty members. At the end of the orientation day, the participants expressed their satisfaction with all aspects of the orientation program and the enriching information provided to them in the various discussion sessions.
