Under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Tahli, the Student Affairs Deanship organized a recognition ceremony yesterday, Monday, to 12/2/1445 AH, to honor university students who participated in the Hajj pilgrimage service for the year 1444 AH.
The event commenced with the Saudi royal anthem, followed by Quran reciting. Speeches from students of the health colleges and student representatives of the university followed this. Attendees then watched a video presentation'.
Subsequently, the University President delivered his speech, expressing that the accomplishments achieved in each Hajj season are by the grace of Allah Almighty and then thanks to the generous support and continuous guidance from the leadership. This support involves providing all necessary resources to serve and accommodate the pilgrims. As an extension of this collective effort, the contribution of our Saudi society members and the participation of our university's students in voluntary work during the Hajj season each year is significant. Our students, we are proud of you, and your remarkable contributions warm hearts and bring joy. May Allah reward you for your contributions to your community and the pilgrims.
At the conclusion of the event, the University President honored the participating students and organizations: the Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority. They were presented with commemorative shields and certificates of appreciation.
