Prof. Abdulrahman al-Talhi, President of PSAU, chaired the first main session of the 2023 Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition held by The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah during the period from 9 to 12 January 2023. The session was held on the second day of the Expo and was titled "Planning for Innovation, a Future Vision for Hajj Digital Services".
The session witnessed the presence of H.E. the Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdel-Fattah Mashat, the Governor of the Digital Government Authority, H.E. Eng. Ahmed Liswayan, the Director of the National Information Center, Dr. Essam Al-Waqit, and the CEO of Elm Company, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Jadhei.
The session discussed the provided services and innovative digital solutions that satisfy the pilgrims’ aspirations from all over the world and facilitate their access to the Two Holy Mosques to perform their rituals in a way that meets and enriches their religious experience, in addition to promoting the sustainability of a culture of quality in providing Hajj and Umrah services.
