Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, the President of PSAU, inaugurated the digital academic guidance platform (Wajehni). The inauguration was in the presence of the Vice President for Educational and Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mashari Al-Osaimi, the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdullah Addas, Dean of IT and Distance Learning, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Daej, and the Vice Dean of E-Learning in the Deanship IT and Distance Learning Dr. Youssef Al-Harbi and the development team of the digital platform (Wajehni).
The inauguration took place in conjunction with the implementation of the three-semester system, and in implementation of the recommendations of the Ministry of Education towards establishing centers for digital academic guidance in universities.
(Wajehni) platform aims to raise the efficiency of academic guidance by providing solutions for communication between students, academic supervisors and departments and colleges. The platform also provides analysis of student performance through graphs based on business intelligence techniques and in integration with all supporting academic systems.
