on Sunday 23/1/1444 AH, PSAU, represented by the Deanship of the Preparatory Year, held an introductory meeting for the students of the preparatory year from a distance. The meeting was held under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi. It was attended by the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mashari Al-Osaimi, the Dean of the Preparatory Year Deanship, Dr. Fahad Al-Alawi, and the dean's dean's representatives and employees.
The meeting began with verses from the Noble Qur’an, followed by a speech by the President of the University, presented on his behalf by the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, who welcomed and blessed the new students for joining the University, considering it a qualitative leap for male and female students in their educational path. Then, Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Mahzari, delivered a speech. Moreover, the Head of the Academic Guidance Unit at the Deanship, Mr. Hossam Badawi, gave a detailed presentation in which he clarified some academic concepts and terminology, noting the need to refer to the student's guide, which contributes to increasing the awareness of the university student. Then came the speech of His Excellency the Vice Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Hisham Abdel-Jabbar. furthermore Ms. Al-Hanouf Al-Shagroud, from The Deanship of IT and Distance Learning welcomed the admission of the new students to the university. She gave a presentation about the services provided by the Deanship such as its work to provide digital applications, and to provide all electronic services to the university sectors, and to its employees, including students, faculty members and employees.
