PSAU achieved 23rd place among 371 government entities based on its contribution to E-transformation. According to the report issued by Maturity Indicator for Key Government Services Transformation for the year 2021, the maturity level indicator of the electronic transformation of the main government services of the university reached 88.73% in the green zone.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al- Daej Dean of IT and Distance Learning, explained that this achievement comes within the framework of the university’s keenness and quest to automate all its services provided to beneficiaries to achieve digital transformation in all services provided in line with the Kingdom’s vision 2030. The achievement wouldn’t be accomplished without the generous support of our wise leadership and continuous support and guidance from Rector, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Talhi, and Vice-Rector, Prof. Abdullah Al-Juma. Dr. Al-Daej explained that this indicator measures the contribution of each government entity to the achievement of its services to the highest level of maturity that can be reached from the total main services of all government agencies. Then the entities are arranged according to the percentage of contribution from the most to the least contributing. He pointed out that the university provided 49 major electronic services during this period. The number of electronic services that reached the highest level of maturity of those services amounted to 44 services.
Dr. Al- Daej indicated that the university, through the Deanship of IT and Distance Learning, with the participation of all parties in the university, seeks to achieve the best results in the field of digital transformation through the development and improvement of all electronic systems and services of the university to achieve the highest level of service maturity and quality.
