On Wednesday 10/11/2021, PSAU signed accreditation contracts for 24 academic programs with the Education and Training Evaluation Commission. The contracts were signed in the Headquarters of the Institute of Research and Consulting Services and in the presence of Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi Rector of PSAU and the Acting CEO of the Commission Dr. Salah Al-Ghamidi.
The agreement included the signing of contracts to accredit a number of disciplines such as medicine, cyber security, English language, chemistry, physics, biology, accounting, and management information systems, which numbered 24 programs, with 6 programs at the master's stage and 18 programs at the bachelor's stage.
The accreditation contracts are an extension of the university’s efforts to improve its outputs and improve the performance of its units, which resulted in the university obtaining institutional accreditation from the Education and Training Evaluation Commission, as well as 18 of its programs obtaining international accreditations from prestigious international bodies.
For his part, Rector confirmed that the partnership with the Commission will continue, and contracts will be signed to approve a number of other programs. He explained that the university has more than 80 programs, serving the governorates of Al-Kharj, Al-Dilam, Hawtat Bani Tamim, Al-Aflaj, Al-Salil, and Wadi Al-Dawasir. He added the university is working to enhance its gains by adopting these programs with the aim of enhancing the quality of education in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and the goals of the Human Capacity Development Program.
