Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi Rector of PSAU met on Wednesday 28/3/1443AH with the university’s faculty members. The meeting was held in the university city theater.
The meeting began with a speech from the Rector, in which he welcomed the attendees and extended his thanks and appreciation to them for their efforts in facilitating the safe return to study seats during the beginning of the current semester. He stressed the importance of having such meetings that achieve integration, listening to viewpoints, and putting forward opinions to achieve everyone's aspirations. Rector pointed out the importance of concerted efforts in order to achieve the university's academic, educational and research goals. He explained that the faculty member's role is a cornerstone for the success of the university and the achievement of its strategic goals.
After that, Rector listened to the interventions of the faculty members and answered the incoming inquiries and their observations with clarity and transparency. In a question about the university’s research goals, Rector confirmed that PSAU is distinguished in research and will continue to support researchers, harness all capabilities and face difficulties to achieve the aspirations of our wise leadership in developing scientific research and innovation. He added no success will be achieved without the concerted efforts of all.
At the end of the meeting, Rector stressed the need to periodically repeat such meetings to cooperate to achieve the university’s objectives.
