The Scientific Council of PSAU held its eighth session for the academic year 1441 H at eight o'clock in the evening on Wednesday 15/8/1441 H virtually through the meetings system and remote work (Microsoft Teams). The meeting was headed by Dr. / Abdulrahman Al-Khudairi, Vice-Rector for Studies Higher and Scientific Research.
The Scientific Council has issued many recommendations regarding:
- Appointing a number of faculty members from scholarships who have obtained a doctorate degree.
- Appointing a number of applicants for appointment to the position of assistant professor from outside the university in the career competition for the year 1441 AH
- Promote a number of faculty members to the rank of Associate Professor.
- Approval of the formation of committees to examine the scientific production of a number of university faculty members applying for promotion.
- Reforming the referees' committees to examine the scientific production of a number of university faculty members applying for promotion
- Approval of an academic sabbatical to one of the university's faculty members.
- Approval of changing the course for a scientific devotion to one of the university's faculty members.
- Approval of a scientific communication report for one of the university's faculty members.
- Approval of the payment of a distinction allowance reward for one of the university's faculty members.
- The council also decided to suspend consideration of all posts that entail assignments or travel expenses to faculty members at the university, until further notice, and informing the applicants with this.
At the end of the session, Dr Al-Khudairi, congratulated the faculty members appointed to the positions of assistant professor, as well as those promoted to the rank of associate professor, on this scientific achievement and wishing them more success.
