ACPE delegation concluded its visit to the College of Pharmacy at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University. At the beginning of the visit, the delegation met with Rector and Vice-Rectors and the Assistant Vice-Rector for Development and Quality Fahd Al-Sahli. Then, they visited the headquarters of the College of Pharmacy to see the extent of the commitment of the College of Pharmacy to the application of quality standards and academic accreditation, where they studied the self-study report of the College and examined the papers and documents necessary for the college to obtain academic accreditation.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Ahmed Al-Alaiwi ensured the readiness of the college and its keenness to provide all the requirements that contribute to raising the quality of education in the college, stressing that academic accreditation is just a means and not an end, which is the beginning of more commitment and development of the educational and research process in the college. He pointed out that the delegation met with the heads of academic departments and a group of faculty members and a number of students, and inspected the facilities of the college.
At the end of the visit, the American delegation for academic accreditation praised the good reception, quality of work and efforts exerted to provide all the requirements of academic accreditation.
