The Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University celebrated under the patronage of Rector of the University Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid the accreditation of its program by the German Commission for Accreditation of Health and Social Programs (AHPGS) for five years. The ceremony was on Monday 17/1/1441 AH at the college theater. The accredited programs are (Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiology and Medical Imaging, Biomedical Technology). The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Abdullah Al-Juma, Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Mishari Al-Osaimi, and in the presence of a number of university Vice-Rectors and deans of faculties, heads of departments and faculty members and staff.
The ceremony started with a reading from the Holy Quran by the student / Ziad Al-Dosari, followed by the speech of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Maher Al-Enezi, who praised the efforts exerted and the readiness of coordination and planning at the level of the college, which was successful and obtained the accreditation of all five academic programs. After that, a presentation was made by the Vice Dean for Development, Quality and Graduate Studies, Dr. Saud Al-Subaie, in which he talked about the plans and strategies that were put in place to obtain this accreditation. This was followed by a speech by Vice-Rector for Development and Quality delivered by Dr. Fahad bin Saad Al Sahli. He praised the role played by Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in promoting the development of our precious kingdoms, the role played by our wise state and its support and interest in education and excellence in its outputs. Major countries, in order to accept their children in the best universities in the world for graduate studies. After that, Prof. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Hamed Rector of PSAU congratulated the faculty and the university on the achievement and expressed his pride in obtaining the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, the high degree through the international academic accreditation, which put the faculty name and status in the world. The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Maher Al-Enezi, presented the commemorative shields to the Vice President for Development and Quality and the Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality.
It is worth mentioning that the academic certificate accredited by the Academic Accreditation Program by the German Authority for Accreditation of International Health and Social Programs, provides many advantages, the most important of which is to facilitate the admission of graduates to prestigious universities to study master's or doctorate, in addition to the best career opportunities in international companies in the labor market.
