Department of female students at the Deanship of Student Affairs organized on Sunday, 19/2 / 1440H at the theater of the College of Education in Addelam the inauguration ceremony of the Sports Activity Unit in the Department of Female Students/ Deanship of Student Affairs.
The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by verses from the Holy Quran, and then a video presentation of the most important achievements of sports activities for the year 38 – 1439. It demonstrated the efforts of the Department of Female Students in the promotion of sports awareness in girls' colleges. Then, the Vice-Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Dalal Al-Matrafi, gave a speech in which she reviewed the plans of the Deanship in the field of sports. Then she welcomed the Vice-Rector Dr. Boshra Al-Hammad, who delivered a speech and explained the importance of the dissemination of sports culture among students. She appreciated the efforts made by the female students' department to raise the level of female university students and pay attention to them in various fields. Then, she launched the logo of the Sports Activity Unit.
Furthermore, everyone went to the college square, where the first sports program, the first walking marathon for female students, was launched, which marks the beginning of the launch of safe sports in university colleges.
It is worth mentioning, that the Department of Female Students has allocated an integrated team to complete the technical, training and physical preparations of the students before the start of the competition long enough, as well as creating a walking track in proportion to the expectations of the female section. In addition, financial and in-kind prizes were awarded to female students who won the race in accordance with approved rules, standards and regulations.
