College of Computer Sciences and Engineering has achieved the Academic Accreditation from Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. The accreditation included all the programs of the college after completing the three departments of the college (computer science, students, information systems, computer engineering) for all quality requirements and the application of academic accreditation systems and standards.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Al-Shammari explained that this accreditation came through the efforts of colleagues from all staff and faculty members in order to improve the educational process and improve its outputs based on the foundations and systems in parallel with the requirements of academic accreditation. The college was received visits for a week by two teams of international experts Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation from the United States, Britain, Australia, and Europe. It was under the supervision of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology were formed as committees for the Computer Accreditation Committee for the Computer Science and Information Systems Department and the Engineering Accreditation Committee for the Engineering Department. Sep to ensure the readiness of the departments and the college and completion of their plans and annual sessions of the work quality and availability of its outputs and see the progress of the educational process. Al-Shammari stressed that the importance of this accreditation requires that the college meet the international standards to ensure the quality of the educational process and ensure that it is in a manner consistent with its counterparts to reach its outputs to advanced levels in comparison with the rest of the outputs and to draw a course of its mechanism to achieve the objectives and vision of the Kingdom 2030.

For his part, the Vice-Rector of Development and Quality, Dr. Nasser Al-Qahtani said that the programs of the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at the University to the international academic accreditation came as a result of great efforts and continuous follow-up over the past years. This achievement is part of the University's plan to develop and implement quality systems for all its faculties and programs through the Quality Assurance and Academic Accreditation Project. The University pays special attention to the application of the quality assurance system as a basis for academic accreditation, both nationally and internationally, Academic accreditation and international bodies that the outputs of academic programs at a high level, similar to their counterparts in prestigious universities. The Dean of Development and Quality, Dr. Fahad Al-Sahli, said that this achievement is the result of hard work and continuous effort of the faculty members, the Deanship of Development and Quality and other departments of the University over several years. He added that the college's access to this international academic accreditation encourages students to join the college programs and provides confidence to students that all the programs of the College of Engineering and Computer Science hold the highest standards in academic education.
