The Institute of Research and Advisory Services at Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of security and safety with a number of Saudi universities (King Saud University, Princess Nora University, King Khalid University), along with, the General Organization for Vocational and Technical Training and civil defense officials. On this regard, a meeting was held to discuss the partnership in the field of graduate programs in the field of safety and fire engineering, including master's and doctorate programs, as well as holding diploma programs and short courses in Britain or within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The meeting also discussed the proposal to establish a center for studies and research in the field of safety and fire in the Kingdom.
For his part, Dean of the Institute of Research and Consulting Services, Dr. Mubarak Al Harbi said that the aim of the meeting is to develop a vision and ideas that will help strengthen the partnership in the field of security and safety through programs and research studies and benefit from experts, academics, and workers in the field of security and safety.
Dr. Al-Quraini, the undersecretary of the Institute for Studies and Programs, stressed that this meeting is an extension of PSAU's research and advisory services to serve the society and all that serves science and knowledge and to develop all means to provide developmental consultations, research and community services, Safety and all fields, which in turn helps to raise the level of safety in both governmental and private institutions.
The meeting was held at Crash headquarters, represented by the Institute of Research and Advisory Services at Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz University, the Institute's Vice-Dean for Studies and Programs Dr. Faisal Al-Quraini and the Institute's Advisor Dr. Freih Al-Anzi.
