University’s Scouts participated in serving the visitors of the Holy Mosque in Makkah in Ramadan of 1439H have achieved the third place services excellence. The award was given within the Ramadan Services Camps that held by Saudi Arabia Scouts Association.
The award was presented to the university's delegation by Prof. Abdullah Al-Fahad, Vice President of the Saudi Scout Association at the ceremony held on Sunday, 26/9/1439 AH, during which the distinguished mobile teams were honored as well as the winners of the various competitions held in the camp.
For his part, the Dean of Student Affairs at the University of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz, Dr. Thlab bin Abdullah Shakra expressed his deep thanks to the Scouts Association for providing the opportunity for their traveling children from various universities in Saudi Arabia to participate in the service of pilgrims and supporters of the House of Allah and enable them to receive the honor of this noble work, Brotherhood, volunteerism, self-discipline, and training to assume responsibilities and make them useful to their religion and their homeland.
He also expressed his sincere thanks to the Prince Sattam University students who participated in the Ramadan service camps this year for their efforts in supporting the other parties to serve the guests of the House of Allah and excellence in that, and the decorations and centers they have achieved.
It is worth mentioning that the University of Prince Sattam participated this year in two mobile teams with thirty-two mobile phones from all faculties of the university in all its branches, to serve the pilgrims and the martyrs of the House of God. They were able to achieve six individual medals and third place in excellence in public service.
