The College of Business Administration in PSAU celebrated the receiving of the international academic accreditation for a number of its programs to the coming next 10 years from the Accreditation Council of the faculties of business administration and programs (ACBSP). The accredited programs are Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources Management, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems.
Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU expressed his delight regarding this accomplishment. He said I would like to thank the Vice-Rector of Development and Quality, Dr. Nasser Al-Qahtani. The role played by the Vice-Rectorate at the university level is tangible and clear through the formation of accreditation committees and sub-committees at the level of colleges and academic departments. The goal of achieving the requirements of academic accreditation as a means to achieve higher goals is to develop the educational outputs of the university colleges to achieve development and build a knowledge society. In addition, he thanked Dr. Ahmad Ajina Dean of the college, his vices and faculty members for this achievement. Moreover, Rector thanked Dr. Fahad Suhaili Dean of Development and Quality and colleagues, besides, thanking everyone participated in the accreditation.
Dr. Al-Qahtani said this achievement is the result of great efforts and continuous follow-up over the past years. It comes within the university's plan to develop and implement quality systems for all its faculties and programs through the project of quality assurance and academic accreditation. Applying the quality assurance system as a basis for the process of academic accreditation, both at the national and international level, which is a recognition by the national and international bodies of academic evaluation and accreditation that the outputs of academic programs at the university at a high level Similar to their counterparts in prestigious universities.
Furthermore, Dr. Ajina stated the College continuously seeks excellence in all its services to achieve leadership in the academic and research work and community service. Since its establishment, the College has consistently adopted the international quality standards and controls, from creating the appropriate environment for the student, attracting members of teaching staff, and focus on applying the mechanism of continuous development commensurate with international standards.
Dr. Suhaili said that this achievement is the result of hard work and continuous effort of the faculty members, the Deanship of Development and Quality and the other departments of the university over several years. The college's access to this international academic accreditation stimulates students to enroll in college programs, as well as gain their confidence in the college's programs, where the highest standards are adopted in academic education.
