Under the patronage of Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU, the activities of the 2nd Scientific Forum was launched on 23/6/1439H. the forum was organized by Deanship of Student Affairs During the Period 23-27/6/1439H at the Main Theater in Building No 6 (College of Medicine) for male students and at the theater of Hedaia Building for female students.
The forum was launched by the Dean of Student Affairs, Vice-Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Forum, Dr. Thlab Al-Shakra, during which he stressed the importance of these scientific forums in developing skills and developing the abilities and refinement of the talents of students and their impact on the society in its development and growth. The Deanship of Student Affairs will work to develop the forum periodically and continuously and to summarize all observations and settle them to be a dresser and a servant to all the wishes, hobbies and directions of the students, which the Deanship is seeking to refine and develop for the kingdom’s benefit.
After that, the Secretary of the Supreme Committee of the Second Scientific Forum, Dr. Omar Deen, made a speech in which he explained the mechanism and criteria for arbitration of works and projects received by the Deanship of university colleges, and how some of them were nominated for final public arbitration. He also explained during his speech the action taken in final public arbitration.
Then, the Arbitration Committee of the path of health research, consisting of Dr. Abdullah Al-Shtayli, Dr. Khalid Al-Zahrani, and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Sheiban, began the arbitration on the final ten candidates for the final research.
After the completion of the arbitration of health research, the Arbitration Committee of the business industry projects, consisting of Dr. Ahmed Suhail Ajina, Dr. Nabil Hazmi, and Dr. Ghazi Younis arbitrated the candidates for the final arbitration of the eighteen projects.
