On Wednesday 18, 3/1439H, Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Rector of PSAU inaugurated the scout camp for the preliminary study organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs in the university city in Al Kharj.
The camp is holding 200 students from the university and other Saudi universities. It will be held during the period 18-21/3/1439H. Rector was received and saluted by the scouts. Then, master of the ceremony took the permission from Rector to raise the Saudi flag in the camp.
After that, everyone went to the headquarters of the ceremony prepared for this occasion, where the ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran followed by Al-Qahtani, followed by a group from Al-Jawalah. The camp is a product of the Deanship of Student Affairs to find quality programs that involve students and students, which aspires through this camp to expand the preparation of student leaders Scouts, because it has a great impact on the personality of the student and culture, and reviewed his happiness some of the work and programs and Harkat phones in previous years, and at the end of his speech, he thanked the Rector's approval and support for the establishment of this camp, and each of the residents took part in its preparation and success of the government agencies involved Kharj province and the university team.
After that, the audience listened to the speech of His Excellency the Rector stating that the university means a great deal in the men's industry and that these Scouts camps are one of the activities that contribute to the men's industry to be loyal to their society and their homeland. Their participation in this season and the previous seasons of wonderful pictures singing near and far make us very proud of what the young Saudi attributes and qualities, and then thanked the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Thalab Shakra and the team of the Deanship of Student Affairs on the various activities they are listening to University of the development of students' skills in this area, also thanked the students participating in the camp of the university students and students of other participating Saudi universities, and government bodies involved in providing programs and courses within the University of the employees of the Department of Education in Al-Kharj and Secondary Industrial Institute.
After that, Eng. Samir Al-Askar, Director of the Industrial Institute in Al-Kharj, presented the camp's training leader with an overview of the camp and its objectives, and the course will provide cultural, sports and social courses and programs.
At the end of the ceremony, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for the Student Activities, Mr. Jamal bin Hamad Al-Hamadah, and the attendees toured the facilities and facilities of the camp, where they learned about the training rooms, the medical clinic and all the facilities of the camp.
It is worth noting that during the first day of the camp, some light sports programs were held, and training courses were held for the participants in the camp about the nature of the scouting movement, its history, and the organizational structure.
