Prof. Abdul Aziz Al Hammed Acting Rector of PSAU inspected the university’s projects the provinces of Wadi Addawasir and Slayel. His visit starts by inspection tour to female colleges in Wadi Addawasir.
Female colleges building are The Preparatory Year, Applied Medical Sciences, Humanities, and Education. Each college consists of 18 laboratories, 45 classrooms, 156 administrative offices, three non-classroom classrooms, a theater with a capacity of 400 students and a cafeteria and a modern library. After that, Dr. Al-Hammed visited the College of Science and Arts, which consists of three floors, including classrooms, administrative offices, laboratories for English language and computer, audiovisual studio, cafeterias, offices for faculty members, a modern library that will be equipped with the highest technical specifications and theater for more than 500 students. Total of the building is more than 156 million riyals.
The project also includes a general site of the College worth SR 34 million, including parking lots and roads, a sewage treatment plant and a desalination plant.
The director of the university also visited the province of Al-Slayel during which he inspected the College of Science and Humanities in Al-Slayel for girls, which cost more than 79 million riyals.
During his visit, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Hammed accompanied the University's Vice-President Dr. Abdullah Al-Jumaa, Vice President for Development and Quality Nasser Al-Qahtani, and a number of university leaders.
Dr. Al-Hammed pointed out that what is witnessed by the faculties of Wadi Al-Dawasir and Al-Slayel is a qualitative leap, a remarkable progress and a continuous endeavor towards achievement to benefit the students of the two governorates from all the projects being implemented, stressing at the same time the need to continue work and achievement until the goals are achieved
