Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU headed the eighth session of the academic year 1436/1437H of the university council. The session was held in the meeting hall at Rector’s office and in the presence of Vices-Rector and the Deans.
The council discussed a number of topics listed on its agenda such as the approval of some regulations related to hiring undedicated lecturers to teach some of the university’s courses. In addition, it discussed the proposal of amending the study and exams table, besides the executive rules of PSAU. Moreover, the council discussed some of the scientific research and scientific assignments cases, along with the academic, student faculties and staff affairs issues. Also, it discussed scholarship and training issues.
At the end of the meeting, Rector directed his Vices and the colleges’ Deans to double the efforts and to rapid the achievements. In addition, he directed them to work on the development and the best enlistment of the resources provided by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
