Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of PSAU inaugurated on Wednesday morning 23/8/1436H the Headquarter of Deanship of Community Services and Continuous Learning. The inauguration witnessed the presence of a number of Vices-Rector and Deans.
The ceremony began by verses from the holly Quran followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Khalid Ghemlas Dean of Community Services and Continuous Learning. He welcomed Rector, Vices-Rector, Deans and Major Raed Rafiq Facilities Security Commander. Then, a documentary about the deanship was displayed, which included on the deanship’s most prominent activates, educational programs and trainings that are delivered to all community’s sectors.
Furthermore, Dr. Al Asimi delivered a speech thanking Dr. Ghemlas and all the deanship staff for their remarkable efforts in activating the third objective of the university, which is community service. He clarified that the university has adopted in its next budget 80 million SAR for the deanship building. Rector also congratulated the graduates of the Computer course. He pointed out that the university is proud by training the security sector and it is always ready to serve the kingdom’s security men.
At the end of the ceremony, Rector handed the graduation corticated to the trainees. Then, Major Rafiq handed a commemorative shield to Rector and appreciation shield to Dr. Ghemlas. Moreover, Rector handed the deanship’s Career Excellence Award to Mr. Abdul Rahman Aablan Programs Administrator, Mr. Hassan Arjani Director of Development and Quality and Mr. Saud Subaiee Director of IT Unit. Then, Rector visited the training halls at the deanship’s building. He took a detailed brief about the deanship’s efforts in preparing a professional training environment.
