The Institute of Prince Abdul Rahman bin Nasser for research and advisory services, represented by the Chair of Shaikh Daej for Local Community Development, holds a lecture titled “Glimpse on Yamama History” delivered by Prof. Abdullah Askar Member of Shura Council and lecturer at King Saud University. The lecture will be held on Wednesday 22, 7/1435H in Hedaia Building for women and in Sciences and Humanities College Theater for men.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Asimi Rector of SAU clarified that this lecture comes within the university’s programs the serve the local community and enhance societal culture. He also assured that community service is a key pillar of the university’s message, in order to serve the country and its citizens.
Funder of Shaikh Daej Chair pointed out that history lessons is an important knowledge for building a community.
Dr. Nasser Jeadi Supervisor of the Chair said that Rector sponsors the Chair interest in local community development. He add, the subject of the lecture was chosen according to a number of reasons such as the historical and the developmental role of Yamama. Many civilizations have prospered in Yamama’s land and it has supported many other civilizations.�
