Dr. Bushra Al-Hammad Vice-Rector for Female Students Affairs received at her office Developer Students Club, which is supported by Google International, at the College of Computer Engineering and Sciences.
During the meeting, the Vice-Rector listened to a brief explanation from the president of the club, student Lama Abdullah Al-Ruwaita, about the most prominent activities and social initiatives that the club includes, and the achievements that were achieved within a short period that embodied the effective role of the students affiliated with the club in serving the university and society. Moreover, a brief overview of the club's future, vision, goals, programs, and future ambitions was presented in line with the university's strategic plan and the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030. Dr. Al-Hammad indicated to the students of the Developed Student Club during that reception that the university is keen to provide all the capabilities that support all student clubs and that such meetings are important to listen to the students ’questions, observations and proposals to activate the student’s role as a partner in building knowledge and future leadership that guarantees them It contributes to the renaissance of a positive and ambitious academic environment and achieves outcomes towards excellence and an effective community partnership. In addition, Vice-Rector honored the Developers Student Club team and the participants in the Small Business Improvement Initiative, which was widely accepted and appreciated by all its beneficiaries. The initiative included providing a service for creating a website on the Internet to support, encourage and serve projects and the work of productive families, which made it a successful initiative that contributed to treating difficulties and facilitating the work of productive families to market their products.
Vice-Rector for Female Student Affairs expressed her pride in the contents of the initiative and praised the important role played by the College of Engineering and Computer Science in its student clubs, which resulted in tangible successes, confirming the supervisor’s endeavor to enhance the vision, mission, and goals of the university, and praising the effort and dedication of them, wishing them Let them continue to give and succeed.
