Under the patronage of Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAU, The College of Engineering held a ceremony marking the end of the visit of the ABET team at the College’s theater. The visit was ended with reading the final statement of the visit without notes on all advanced programs for accreditation.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, after that the Dean of the College, Dr. Raed Al-Youssef, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the Rector, appreciating his generous and permanent patronage of all the faculty activities, and he also welcomed the university's vice Rectors, deans, faculty members, and all attendees.
Dr. Al-Yousef pointed out that the college sought to develop and update its plans in line with the university's vision 2030, as it relied on setting its plans according to the latest international standards, as he indicated that the college's orientation to adopt its programs stems from its keenness and the university's keenness to provide distinguished engineering education in addition to excellence in scientific research and partnership His Excellency reviewed the most important achievements that contributed to the distinction of the College of Engineering and pointed out the future plans of the college. He concluded his speech by again thanking His Excellency the President of the University and the Vice-Presidents of the University, the Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies, Development and Quality, and the Excellency of the Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs for their follow-up, support and efforts that had a great impact on the success of the visit. After that, the attendees listened to the speech of Rector, who began his speech with a special congratulation to the college, its dean, faculty members, and students for this success, indicating that the university is rich in a number of achievements at the local and international levels despite its young age.
