Dr. Thalab Shakra Dean of Students Affairs in PSAU headed the delegation participated in the Ambassadors for Inter-Religious Dialogue Forum, which was organized by the World Union of Muslim Scouts in the Republic of Tunisia during the period 2 - 9/11/2018.
the delegation had a distinguished participation in the workshops and scientific sessions that were presented during the days of the forum through the discussion of other delegations in their subjects and the presentation. Its themes varied between Islam and the dialogue of civilizations as well as the heavenly religions, peace, and community and human development how to become a means of spreading peace.
On the fourth day, Dr. Shakra managed a workshop that was dedicated to prepare the Ambassador's Guide to Interreligious Dialogue. It witnessed an active participation in the brainstorming from all over the world delegations.
The program also included a visit to some research centers such as the Center for Islamic Studies in Kairouan as well as the Higher Institute of Public Speaking and Guidance. It included a visit of major Tunisian universities such as Zaytouna University and Al-Manar University and to inform the students of Saudi universities about the sections they contain and the process of the teaching process inside.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Republic of Tunisia, Mr. Mohamed Al Ali, received the participating universities in the Tunisian capital in the presence of the cultural attaché, Dr. Mohammed Al-Toum, where he expressed his gratitude to his students for representing Saudi Arabia, which has been widely represented throughout the Arab world.
Dr. Shakra clarified the participating in this forum with a distinguished elite of college students who have had a clear impact on its success and represent the University of Prince Sattam bin Abdul Aziz as a representative, starting from the university's belief in the importance of participation of its students in conferences, forums and intellectual intercourse with their fellow students from different universities around the world and exchanging experiences and cultures.
