Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and the Human Resources Development Fund " HRDF " signed in Riyadh an agreement to support university employment offices, in order to support the employment of students from the university graduates and those expected to graduate, as the agreement aims to increase their competitiveness in the labor market and raise the proportion of employment.
The agreement was signed by University Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Mashari Al-Usaimi and Ahmed Al-Majesh Deputy Director-General of the Human Resources Development Fund to support employment, as part of the HRDF initiative in the program to support graduate employment offices in universities. The agreement comes within the framework of the Fund's efforts to support the training and employment of the national workforce in private sector enterprises, through its many programs, as well as finding appropriate support mechanisms to reach the achievement of its goals.
The University and the Fund previously signed a similar agreement in December 2018, and under the agreement, the Fund will work to provide support and training to the university's employment office and its employees, to take advantage of the Fund's programs that it provides to support the training and employment of the national workforce, including the electronic "Sabil" platform for education and extension services Vocational, "Daroub" platform for e-training, "Tamheer" program for on-the-job training, the national portal for work "TAQAT" to serve job seekers and employers, and my professional and summer certification programs.
The agreement contributes to improving the employment performance of graduates, preparing them for the needs of the labor market, providing them with quality training, and providing an opportunity to present creative projects and ideas to help graduates in the specializations facing challenges in the labor market in order to enable them to obtain employment in the private sector.
