Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAU received at his office on 29/3/1442AH Dr. Fahad Al-Alawi Dean of the Preparatory Year Deanship and his Vice for Technical Affairs, Development and Quality Dr. Hussein Almaliki. During the meeting, Rector received the annual report of the deanship.
Rector appreciated the support that the university receives at its headquarters and its branches from the rational government, which contributed to providing an educational atmosphere that fulfills the aspirations and hopes of the university’s employees, including students, employees, and faculty members, praising the efforts made by the Deanship of the preparatory year. It has a positive impact on achieving tangible successes for the academic programs it offers.
The Dean of the Preparatory Year Deanship reviewed the statistics of those admitted, specialists, and withdrawn, and compared the current year with the past in terms of numbers of those admitted to the university. The report included documentation of the achievements of the Deanship in its various agencies, statistics for the academic and administrative staff in the Deanship in its various headquarters, as well as the various activities and events, and training courses organized by the academic units supporting the Deanship for its various employees, in addition to the programs that embody the Deans ’active role in serving the university and society. Which entrenches the spirit of social responsibility among its students, and the most important proposals and recommendations that chart the way for the ambitions of the Deanship in the coming period, in line with the university's strategic plan and the Kingdom's 2030 vision.
For his part, the Vice-Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Mushari Al-Osaimi received a copy of the Deanship's annual report and valued the extent of the interest of His Excellency the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Hamid, and his unlimited support for the Deanship of the Preparatory Year and his constant eagerness for the Deanship to achieve its desired goals, praising the efforts of Dr. Al-Alawi, vice deans, and all employees of the deanship are at the service of all male and female students. Dr. Al-Alawi Extended his thanks and appreciation to the university’s leadership for their continuous support and guidance.
