Under the patronage of Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAU, The General Secretariat of University Endowments and the Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Charitable Foundation signed a partnership agreement. The agreement was signed by the Secretary-General of the University Endowments, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Jarawi, and the CEO of the Foundation, Dr. Khaled bin Abdulrahman bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi,
This agreement comes within the framework of the university endowments efforts to integrate with non-profit sector institutions, in order to achieve the requirements and goals of Vision 2030. It allows each party to fund programs, projects and activities agreed upon by the two parties, and promotes the exchange of experiences between them in the fields of knowledge grants, development marketing and financial advice.
Al-Jaraiwi explained that this agreement comes from the university’s and its endowments interest to participate in community development and the development of the non-profit sector, and to benefit from the competitive advantage of each party to improve performance and reach goals efficiently and effectively.
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Rajhi stated that the Foundation aims, from this partnership, to support and serve the programs, and activities of the university endowments and scholarship students. In addition to contributing to the transfer of the institution’s expertise to the university to mix its academic experiences with practical reality, which will result in scientific outputs that benefit the university community and state institutions alike.
The agreement signage witnessed the presence of Vice-Rectors on behalf of the university, and Head of Partnerships and Director of the Foundation branch in Riyadh on behalf of the Foundation.
