The Clinical Simulation Center at the Faculty of Medicine at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University has obtained the accreditation of the American College of Surgeons to give advanced injury courses. The center covers Al-Kharj and its environs in training health practitioners and health sector workers with locally accredited training certificates from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the Ministry of Health and internationally accredited by the American Heart Association and the College of Surgeons.
Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Dhiab, Dean of the College of Medicine, explained that what was achieved is thanks to the great support from the university, as the center was prepared to be a training and educational center for health practitioners and students to benefit from. Al-Thiab added that this achievement adds to the previous accomplishments represented in the center obtaining full accreditation from the American Heart Association to give cycles of CPR and advanced cardiac resuscitation.
