Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAU, honored in his office on Sunday morning 9/1/1441 H, students of mobile and health colleges participating in the service of pilgrims. The honoring ceremony witnessed the presence Vice Rector for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Mushari Al-Osaimi, the Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Thalab Al-Shukra, and a number of the university's employees and leaders.
The meeting started with a speech by the participating students, delivered on their behalf by the student: Ibrahim Al-Qahtani. He mentioned the awards and accolades achieved by the university mobile, and how to support the service providers participating in the pilgrimage this year, and reviewed during the speech a report on the achievements of students of health colleges on the number of emergency cases that have been initiated. After that, Rector delivered a speech on this occasion stating that we are pleased with the achievements of the university students participating in serving the guests of Rahman. He added that they are practicing humanitarian work in which they serve the guests of Rahman coming from the countries of the world; to perform the pilgrimage easily and easily. At the end of his speech, Rector thanked the students for their honor of the University for their outstanding participation in the service of pilgrims this year, as well as for the Deanship of Student Affairs for their preparation and training.
In addition, The Dean of the Deanship of Student Affairs Dr. Thalab Al Shukra gave a speech. He said that starting from the high message of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University in the service of society and active participation in all his events and under the guidance and follow-up of His Excellency the President of the University participated distinctly in the pilgrimage this year with sixty students, including forty-eight mobile phones under the umbrella of the Saudi Scouts Association. Moreover, twelve health college students participated in the service of pilgrims under the umbrella of the Saudi Red Crescent.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Al-Hamid handed thanks letters to the participating students from the mobile and the students of the health faculties of the university. Then, the participating students thanked the Rector and all the staff for their support and work to prepare them to participate in the service of guests of Rahman.
