Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamid Rector of PSAU, received Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, Maher Al-Enezi, Vice Dean for Educational and Academic Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Ruwaili, and Vice Dean for Quality and Graduate Studies, Dr. Saud Al-Subaie on the occasion of obtaining the Academic Accreditation by the German Commission for Accreditation of Health and Social Programs (AHPGS) for five years. The accreditation was for all college’s academic programs (Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Radiology and Medical Imaging, Biomedical Technology).
This achievement is the culmination of the efforts of the College, in recognition of the quality of its academic, administrative and research operations, and an incentive to continue to achieve its goals and strategic vision that contribute to the realization of the ambitious vision of the nation 2030. The report of the German Authority praised the leading role offered by the university leaders through its support for the programs of the college and other programs at the university, and its attention to promote the quality of all academic programs and raise the efficiency of graduates in line with the requirements of the labor market. In addition, The German Commission praised in its report that the college programs meet all the accreditation standards and requirements and requirements that comply with international accreditation standards and quality assurance requirements and the existence of a strategic plan aimed at developing the output of the college in addition to the practices of the educational process, research and community service.
Rector congratulated all the faculty members and those behind the, as well as the team that worked hard to achieve this accreditation, and urged them to exert more effort and excellence in all areas.
